Hector Sector is the bizarre cardboard based artist who came into existence back in 2013 when he placed a box upon his head. He didn't find his footing as an artist until he started creating cardboard artwork back in 2016. Since then, he’s been creating art about accessibility towards the art world. Hector’s accomplishments include making his own comic series A Life In The Day Of Me, constructing his own art space made entirely of cardboard for his thesis work called Living in a Box, gets his work shown in multiple galleries, is sponsored by Stuart Semple and his art company "Culture Hustle, and has been gaining thousands of followers on sites such as TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter. Hector still makes art out of cardboard to this day and won't stop any time soon.

William D. Martin
began his art making process when he graduated high school back in 2010. However, he didn't find his niche with creating artwork until he found inspiration with the man who wears a box on his head, Hector Sector, and began collaborating with Hector to create his cardboard artwork since 2016. When he's not working with Hector, you can find him making his own artwork with themes dealing with the afterlife and mental illnesses (in which you can view his mini gallery here). William is also an illustrator and writer of his own comics, such as Afterville, Charlie and Benny, and is co-writer for Hector’s comic series A Life In The Day Of Me (which you can view here) William graduated with his degree in K-12 Art education from Metropolitan State University of Denver in Fall '19 and now works as a High School Art Teacher. |
